Employer relations group Acas has launched a free online package aimed at helping employers to deal with parental rights in the workplace.

The step-by-step guide includes information on the following key issues:
Maternity and paternity rights and pay
Adoption leave and pay
Parental leave
Time off to help dependants
The right to request flexible working arrangements.

The package forms part of the organisation's e-learning system, and is available from the Acas website.
